Man United scouts impressed by Marc Casado

According to CaughtOffside, Manchester United scouts have been really impressed by Barcelona youngster Marc Casado ahead of the January transfer window.

They’ve been blown away by his ability to control a game and his incredible vision, though, they aren’t alone in that view.

Rivals Liverpool are also admirers of the 21-year-old defensive midfielder, who’s laid on five assists in 10 outings this season.

Newcastle are interested in the Spaniard, too, United will have to fend off a number of interested suitors to land his signature.

Liverpool believe Casado could make immediate impact

Liverpool wanted to sign a defensive midfielder during the summer window and really pushed to sign Martin Zubimendi, who ultimately rejected a move to Anfield.

So it’s evident that Arne Slot still wants another body in the summer six role and the report further notes that Liverpool believes Casado could make an immediate impact, should he join.

In fact, it’s understood that he’d be given a key role in Slot’s side from the get-go – which is something United may not be able to offer.

So perhaps Liverpool lead the race for his signature.
