Tottenham Hotspur have been able to get back on track following their defeat before the interntional break with their win on the weekend.

There is little time for Ange Postecoglou‘s side with Europa League football coming back around on Thursday with a home clash against AZ Alkmaar.

So far, in the Europa League, Tottenham have rotated considerably with the European competition providing opportunities for some of the club’s squad players.

And at the heart of the Europa League squad is some of Tottenham’s promising youngsters who are looking for an opportunity to impress.

But one of those players is now at the centre of serious interest from Sevilla who would be keen to offer him more regular football.

Sevilla looking to sign Tottenham summer signing on loan

There are a number of young prospects who are beginning to make a name for themselves in north London.

Mikey Moore is one of the youngsters who is coming through the ranks at Tottenham and Harry Redknapp has urged Postecoglou to play Moore more often.

But Tottenham have also invested in some of their youngsters in this current squad with a couple arriving over the summer window.

According to Mucho Deportivo, Sevilla’s director of football Victor Orta is already asking about signing Archie Gray on loan.

Orta is someone who Gray will know incredibly well given he joined the Spanish outfit from Leeds United.

Sevilla are believed to be positioning themselves already for a potential deal in January with a loan space available in their squad.

However, it is expected Tottenham would reject any loan approach with Alejo Veliz experiencing his struggles at Sevilla last season.

Archie Gray needs to use Europa League to shine

After signing in the summer from Leeds United, the ‘priceless‘ Gray has struggled to work his way into the Premier League side with opportunities at a premium.

The former Leeds midfielder has only been able to earn himself 33 minutes across four appearances in the Premier League.

However, in the cup competitions, Gray has been to play 180 minutes in the Europa League and then a full 90 minutes in the Carabao Cup game against Coventry City.

Postecoglou was really impressed by Gray during that game against Coventry but he is still yet to earn himself a start in the Premier League.

Although minutes may be at a premium for Gray, there will have to be a big question whether he would benefit from moving to Spain on loan.
