Tottenham look set to miss out on Randal Kolo Muani to Juventus.

TBR Football understand Tottenham wanted to sign Kolo Muani after PSG deemed the France international surplus to requirements.

Now – however – Gazzetta dello Sport in Italy believe Juventus are close to signing the PSG No.23 on loan.

Sources also told TBR Football that Arsenal were offered Kolo Muani across the last 24 hours before Juventus stepped up their interest.

Now – according to the Daily MailTottenham are looking at a different forward in Evann Guessand after the update on Randal Kolo Muani.

Tottenham monitoring Evann Guessand – but West Ham are also keen

Matt Barlow has now revealed that Spurs are keeping an eye on the Ivory Coast international – who is admired by West Ham and Bournemouth too.

The Daily Mail believe OGC Nice would consider bids in the region of £20m – despite tying Guessand down to a new contract back in August, which runs until 2028.

It has been an impressive 2024/25 campaign for the Ivorian, who boasts eight goals and four assists in 17 Ligue 1 appearances – form which led L’Equipe to put the OGC Nice No.29 in their Team of the Season so far.

It is believed West Ham scouted Guessand across November and December, although the search for a new striker has now intensified after Niclas Fullkrug, Michail Antonio and Jarrod Bowen all suffered serious injuries.

Ange Postecoglou would get a versatile forward in Evann Guessand

The 23-year-old himself has already admitted he can play anywhere across the frontline.

During an interview with OGC Nice, Guessand revealed: “I was trained as a winger, and even when I went to the national team, I played as a winger. Then I grew physically, getting taller, so they put me in the centre. At Nantes, I played three quarters of the season on the right flank, so yes, I’m less of a nine (centre-forward) than some. I can play in all attacking positions.

“Away to Lorient I played up front, against Lille on the flank. I like to play in all attacking positions.”

This versatility would be of great benefit to Ange Postecoglou, who has just lost Timo Werner to a hamstring injury – a player who was already underperforming anyway – while Richarlison and Wilson Odobert are also currently sidelined.
