Who is Tottenham target Antoine Semenyo?

Antoine Semenyo came through the ranks at Bristol City and became a star for the Robins, with 21 goals and 21 assists from 125 competitive senior outings.

Bournemouth signed Semenyo in January 2023 for a fee in excess of £10million, according to BBC Sport.

He has made 55 competitive appearances to date for the Cherries, registering 12 goals and three assists in the process.

In December last year, Semenyo described his style of play to The Mirror, saying: “I like to hunt people down.

“I feel like that side of things suits me and my style of play. I feel like I’ve got the skillset to play out wide; I like to dribble and create stuff out of nothing whenever I can, so it suits.”

Jamie Redknapp waxed lyrical about Semenyo on Sky Sports after Bournemouth's clash against Newcastle in August.

"Bournemouth were certainly the better team and in Semenyo on the right wing, he's an absolute star,” he said.

“He cost £10million from Bristol City, what a great signing he was, he is worth a fortune. Elegant, graceful, powerful player, he's got everything that young man."
