Tottenham Hotspur are bracing themselves for the moment when Heung-min Son calls time on his spell in North London.

Now aged 32, the forward is in the twilight stages of his career and despite still showing signs of being an elite player, plans will need to be made for when his time in the capital is up.

Spurs already have a set of talented young wingers at the club including Mikey Moore, Wilson Odobert and Yang Min-hyuk, but they are still searching for further reinforcements.

The Lilywhites have their eyes on several wingers and have just been made aware of the price tag for one of their key targets.

Tottenham told how much Jamie Bynoe-Gittens would cost

Tottenham have been told that a deal for Jamie Bynoe-Gittens will cost at least £50 million, according to CaughtOffisde. Borussia Dortmund do not want to lose the winger and it would take mega money for them to even enter into discussions for him.

Arsenal have also shown an interest in the Englishman following his impressive performances in Germany and Europe this season. The 20-year-old has four goals and three assists in all competitions this term and has started to finally work his way into Dortmund’s line-up.

Gittens is seen as a potential replacement for Son at Tottenham, meanwhile, Arsenal are looking for wide options with Gabriel Martinelli disappointing.

How the media rated Heung-min Son’s return vs West Ham

Son showed no signs of slowing up just yet as he marked his return from injury with a goal against West Ham. Ange Postecoglou’s side produced an emphatic response to their defeat to Brighton with a 4-1 win over the Hammers and Son impressed the media in the London derby win.

Football.London were very impressed by Son’s display giving him a 9/10 and writing: “Returned to the Tottenham XI after his injury and went agonisingly close to the opener with a curling effort that just went wide of the post.

“Played a vital part in the third goal following some lovely play with Kulusevski as his effort was saved by Alphonse Areola before going in off Todibo. Did manage to get his name on the scoresheet on the hour mark and was extremely unlucky moments later with a shot that hit the post and came back out.”

The Evening Standard also gave him a high rating with an 8/10: “Played brilliantly on his return from a short spell out with a hamstring injury. Caused Aaron Wan-Bissaka real problems, and got himself on the scoresheet.”

It was another 8/10 from the Daily Express who said: “A few wayward moments early on were forgotten in the second half, when he played a big part in Areola’s own goal and then tore Jean-Clair Todibo to shreds before netting himself.”
