Arsenal’s summer business might not be finished just yet despite the transfer window being shut.

The window remains open for some leagues overseas, so there could still be exits from the Emirates this month.

Leandro Trossard was linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League but Arsenal rebuffed a £30m offer from Al-Ittihad.

Now, another first-teamer is being subjected to interest but this time from the Turkish Super Lig.

Galatasaray interested in signing Arsenal midfielder Jorginho

According to The Sun, Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray are eying a late swoop for Arsenal’s Jorginho.

The transfer window doesn’t shut until September 13th for clubs in Turkey, so there’s still time to do a deal.

Galatasaray are prepared to test The Gunners’ resolve, however, Mikel Arteta is a huge fan of the Italian, so any forthcoming bids are set to be rejected.

Jorginho, who’s been labelled ‘world class’ per The Metro, has one year left on his deal and will surely be set for contract talks with Arsenal bosses in the coming months.

As it stands, the 32-year-old can talk to other clubs in January and agree a pre-contract for the summer.

Arsenal can’t lose anybody at this stage

Arsenal must rebuff approaches for all of their players this month as they simply cannot sign replacements until January.

With Champions League football on the horizon, their squad needs to be bulky to cope with multiple games a week.
