Man United are aware replacing under-pressure goalkeeper Andre Onana will put a “severe” dent in their summer transfer budget, sources have told Football Insider.
Football Insider revealed on Monday (21 April) that Altay Bayindir and Tom Heaton are expected to leave Old Trafford this summer.
United are believed to be willing to listen to suitable offers for Onana – but are not prioritising a change in the goalkeeping department.
Sources say the club acknowledge that a replacement for the blunder-prone 29-year-old will but a severe dent in their finances.
Man United not prioritising goalkeeper reshuffle
Finance expert Stefan Borson has told Football Insider (20 April) that Onana will have a book value of £30million this summer.
He was dropped for Bayindir for the 4-1 loss against Newcastle but has since been restored to Ruben Amorim's starting lineup.
The Cameroon international is the first-choice goalkeeper at United, making 45 starts this season and keeping 10 clean sheets.

He is under contract at Old Trafford until June 2028, with an option for an extra 12 months, after joining the club from Inter Milan two years ago.
Onana, who has won the FA Cup at Man United, cost the Red Devils a reported potential fee of almost £50million.
Man United could cash in on Hojlund
Meanwhile, Football Insider revealed (15 April) that Man United could cash in on striker Rasmus Hojlund this summer as they plan to sign an elite forward as a priority.
Hojlund, 22, is attracting interest back in the Italian Serie A – where he made his name with Atalanta.
Amorim's transfer chiefs want a new forward this summer as the Portuguese boss looks to put his own stamp on the squad.
