West Ham United have been looking for a new striker all month long.

The Hammers have scoured the market for new striker options.

West Ham have been linked to Evan Ferguson this month, while Andre Silva has been a West Ham target too in recent times.

Brian Brobbey has also been linked to West Ham, and according to Ben Jacobs, speaking on NUFC Matters, the Dutch attacker has actually come to London to join West Ham, but there are issues in terms of the club-to-club negotiations between the Hammers and Ajax.

Brian Brobbey waiting for West Ham move

According to Jacobs, Brobbey has been in London recently to join West Ham, but he's been forced to continuously wait on a move.

The journalist says that Brobbey has actually agreed terms with West Ham, but Ajax want some sort of obligation to buy the player for £30m, and that is a sticking point.

"Right now it's very much West Ham looking at Andre Silva, Evan Ferguson and Brian Brobbey actually came to London and he's been made to wait and wait and wait, and nothing has happened so far,” Jacobs said.

"The player has agreed terms with West Ham, but Ajax want some sort of obligation to buy for £30m."

Brobbey compared to Andre Silva and Evan Ferguson

West Ham seemingly have three striker targets in mind here.

Brobbey, Andre Silva and Evan Ferguson are all on the Hammers' radar at the moment, and, when you look at the stats, it's hard to pick which striker you want to go for.

Sadly, all three of these forwards have poor records this season.

All three men have only one league goal to their name this season, so, it is slim pickings for West Ham here.

Perhaps West Ham's best bet here would be to go for a player like Ferguson. After all, he's the youngest of the three players and he's somewhat proven at Premier League level.

One thing is for sure, spending £30m on a player who has scored just one Eredivisie goal this season doesn't look like good business, and while Brobbey may be waiting for a move to the London Stadium, West Ham's business sense may well steer them away from this transfer.
