Arsenal took PSG to school on Tuesday evening as they produced a dominant Champions League performance against the French giants.

Arsenal have only been back in the Champions League for a couple of years, but it's PSG who looked like the inexperienced outfit this week as the Gunners completely smothered Luis Enrique's side.

Speaking to 90Min, Robert Pires has been building his dream combined XI made up of Arsenal and PSG players, and he made an interesting claim about two men in particular.

Indeed, Pires says that Gabriel Jesus is actually a better player than Randal Kolo Muani.

This is despite the fact that Jesus starts most games on the bench for Arsenal, while Kolo Muani was a £77m signing for PSG last summer.

Gabriel Jesus picked as better than Randal Kolo Muani

Pires picked Jesus ahead of Kolo Muani, and it's not hard to understand why.

Jesus may not have featured too heavily for Arsenal lately, but he's still a top player.

The Brazilian has won multiple Premier League titles in his career, proving himself to be a world-class operator throughout his time at Manchester City and Arsenal.

Meanwhile, Kolo Muani didn't quite grab the brass ring upon his move to PSG last summer, scoring just six goals for the French champions last season.

Gabriel Jesus and Randall Kolo Muani are similar

Jesus has had the better career to date, but there are a lot of similarities between Jesus and Kolo Muani's current situations.

Both are very talented players who are struggling to get minutes for their current teams who would perhaps be best served playing key roles elsewhere.

Kolo Muani looked like a superstar when he was the main man at Frankfurt, while Jesus could probably have a similar sort of impact if he was to play a similar role for a slightly smaller club.

Jesus may be the more premium option, but there are a lot of similarities between these two players and their current situations.
