Romeo Lavia has endured a frustrating season at Chelsea due to persistent injuries but still found time to offer support to a teammate facing similar struggles.
Lavia's time at Stamford Bridge has been plagued by setbacks, limiting him to just 13 appearances and 596 minutes across all competitions this season.
His long-awaited return came in Chelsea's recent 1-0 defeat to Arsenal, where he managed an eight-minute cameo off the bench.
Some Chelsea fans have called for Lavia to be sold, frustrated by his limited appearances since joining the club for a hefty £58 million two seasons ago.
However, the midfielder has remained engaged with his teammates and sent a message of support after yet another injury setback for Enzo Maresca.
Omari Kellyman ruled out for the rest of Chelsea's season
Omari Kellyman has had his own injury worries this season and has been dealt another setback. Kellyman confirmed that he will miss the remainder of the season due to a hamstring injury in his latest Instagram post.
His absence means he will have missed over 50 games this campaign, a frustrating blow for both the player and the club.
Lavia showed his support by reposting Kellyman's update on his own Instagram story, writing: "Marathon, not a race. Stay strong, brother! You'll be back stronger. John 13:7."
Since his £19 million move from Aston Villa last summer, Kellyman has yet to make a single appearance under Maresca. The signing was surprising at the time, and Chelsea fans have grown increasingly frustrated with Kellyman as injuries have prevented him from playing or securing a loan move.

Chelsea could be forced to move on from Lavia and Kellyman amid injury struggles
Despite Lavia's recent return, he has missed 19 games this season on top of the 43 he was sidelined for last campaign due to four separate injuries.
The £58m signing has barely featured since arriving at Stamford Bridge, and with Kellyman yet to make an impact either, both players face uncertain futures.
Football Insider previously revealed that Chelsea were open to loaning Kellyman out in January, with several EFL clubs interested, but his injury prevented any move.
Frustration is growing among fans, and with Chelsea looking to reshape their squad, it remains to be seen whether Lavia and Kellyman will get the opportunity to prove themselves.
