TBR Football sources can exclusively confirm that Mathys Tel has delivered a transfer boost amid interest from the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, Manchester United and Aston Villa.

Numerous Premier League clubs have joined the race to sign Tel after he signalled his intention to leave Bayern Munich this month.

Tottenham have opened talks with both Tel and Bayern in recent days as they look to strengthen their attacking ranks.

And while Tottenham have now been handed a boost in their pursuit of Tel, this is also the case for the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Aston Villa.

Mathys Tel excited by prospect of Premier League move

Sources close to Mathys Tel have confirmed to TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey that the player is “excited” by the chance of moving to England.

TBR Football has revealed that Tottenham have wasted little time in making him their top forward target – but we can now confirm that Arsenal, Manchester United and Aston Villa have joined Spurs in holding talks in the last 24 hours.

Speaking to TBR Football, but with their name held back to protect their position, a source confirmed to us that Tel is “excited” by the prospect of moving to England, which now looks the most likely option for him this month.

“He knows the Premier League well and is flattered by all the interest,” said the source. “But he does not want to continue on the bench like at Bayern Munich, so he will chose his next club carefully.”

What Chelsea have now realised about Mathys Tel as transfer stance revised

Chelsea were the first team to show interest some weeks ago when Bayern spoke to the Blues about Christopher Nkunku.

TBR Football can confirm that the Blues remain interested but accept that they are unlikely to be able to give him the guarantees they want.

With that, Chelsea do retain an interest in Alejandro Garnacho.

However, the Blues are yet to re-engage in talks and make any sort of offer to Man United, who would demand in excess of £60million for the Argentine.
