Chelsea are considering selling Jadon Sancho immediately after triggering their obligation to buy, sources have told Football Insider.

The Blues are set to make a decision about Sancho’s future in the coming days, as his £25million move could be cancelled with a £5million payment to Man United.

However, it now looks likely that the 25-year-old will make the permanent move to Stamford Bridge before he could immediately be sold on.

This comes after Football Insider revealed on 17 March that Chelsea are certain to sign Sancho if they qualify for next season's Champions League.

The winger’s stock in the game is still high after his success at Borussia Dortmund last season when he played a key role in their run to the Champions League final.

As a result, a number of clubs both domestically and abroad are keeping a close eye on his situation.

Jadon Sancho eyes Chelsea exit as Germany return on the cards

Sancho is keen to put permanent roots down at a club after back-to-back loan spells away from Man United, and is likely to seek clarity over his future in the summer.

Football Insider revealed on 19 March that Man United are unlikely to facilitate Sancho’s return, while he is happy to stay at Chelsea despite a frustrating season.

He has scored just two goals and provided six across 29 appearances so far this term.

The possibility of a move back to Germany is also on the cards, as clubs across Europe remain keen on a potential agreement with the Blues.

However, there is a lot of work that has to take place behind the scenes before his Chelsea departure can be considered as no firm decisions have been made.

Raheem Sterling exit twist emerges amid Arsenal concerns

Amid speculation about Sancho’s future at Chelsea, preparations are also being put in place for Raheem Sterling’s return from his spell at Arsenal.

Former Man United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that Sterling wants to join another Premier League club as he is “certain” to leave Stamford Bridge.

However, there is a lack of interest from Premier League sides as things stand as clubs have been put off by the move following his disappointing loan spell at Arsenal.

This comes after Brown told Football Insider that Arsenal are concerned about Sterling's performances after failing to impress Mikel Arteta in training.
