Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford continues to be linked with a move away from Old Trafford.
Rashford is ready to leave Manchester United, and a number of clubs are keen on signing the Red Devils forward.
For instance, AC Milan have been linked with Rashford, while West Ham United are keen on Rashford too.
Now, David Ornstein has shared the latest on Rashford’s transfer situation, including what he’s heard from sources close to the player.
Marcus Rashford fit, available and on decent terms with Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim
Ornstein, speaking on NBC Sports in a video shared on his X feed, revealed that sources close to Rashford say he’s fit, available for selection, and not on bad terms with Ruben Amorim.
Ornstein also said Man United would be open to moving him on for footballing and financial reasons, and he predicted this transfer saga could run right until deadline day.
“The talks continue over a potential solution, but we don’t have a resolution,” said Ornstein.
“He’s training with the main group at Manchester United and sources close to the player say that he is fit and available for selection and there are no issues between him and Ruben Amorim.
“I think Manchester United would certainly be open to his exit for football and financial reasons – he earns in excess of £325,000 a week on a contract that runs until 2028.
“But I could see this rumbling on right up to the deadline day because it is complicated.”
Ornstein then shared what Rashford’s stance is regarding a move away from Manchester United and regarding the clubs linked with him.
“On Rashford’s part, he didn’t really initiate this, but I think he would accept an exit if it is right for him,” continued Ornstein.
“Now his preference, as I understand it, would be a move to Barcelona if he was to leave Man United but their situation is is complex financially as well.
“Then you’ve got Borussia Dortmund, they’ve been looking into it but I’m not sure that would appeal to Rashford – they’re not in a great state themselves.
“Others like AC Milan and Juventus have been linked but I’m not hearing anything too strong on them as things stand.”

Who else could leave Man United?
It would appear as though there could be a mass exodus at Old Trafford this month as Amorim looks to shape the squad in his image.
Man United winger Antony is closing in on a loan move to Real Betis in wake of him struggling to make his mark at Old Trafford.
Casemiro is ready to leave Man United, while Alejandro Garnacho is frustrated at present and potentially open to a move.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are interested in signing Kobbie Mainoo, so that could be a situation to watch too.
