Southampton could sign Pascal Struijk - expert

Southampton have been tipped to sign Leeds United defender Pascal Struijk as they look to enhance their defensive options for the second half of the Premier League campaign.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider's Inside Track podcast, former Leeds goalkeeper Paul Robinson, who remains well-connected with the club, claims that Struijk is "not good enough" to play for a club like Tottenham but could join the Saints or Wolves.
Spurs are monitoring the 25-year-old defender as Ange Postecoglou is hoping to enhance his squad due to defensive injuries this season.
However, with Leeds pushing for promotion to the Premier League the club are not keen to weaken the squad in the January transfer window with any sales of key players.
Struijk has played every single minute of Leeds' Championship campaign and has scored twice this season.

"He’s not good enough for me," Robinson told Football Insider.
"He struggled in the Premier League with Leeds, you look at the left side when Leeds were in the Premier League, Pascal Struijk and Junior Firpo.
"24-18 months ago maybe even less, 12 months ago, he was struggling to get into a Leeds side that was playing in the Premier League, he couldn't get into the side.
"Daniel Farke's made him captain this year and he's come onto another level and he's an integral part of that Leeds team.
"They'll struggle to get him out of Leeds because Leeds won't want to do a deal for any of their players and rightly so because they're looking to get back into the Premier League.
"So, one it will be a tough deal to do but from a Tottenham point of view I'm not sure he's at that level.
"If he’s moving into the Premier League, you look at other clubs, Wolves, Southampton, that type of level.
"For me, he doesn’t go into the top six in the Premier League, top ten in the Premier League, he doesn’t fit."
