Kelechi Iheanacho's future is expected to be away from Leicester City even after the Foxes secured promotion back to the Premier League.

The striker featured regularly in the first half of the season, before losing prominence this year. To put it in context, the 27-year-old was limited to five appearances in 2024.

Iheanacho's contract will expire in June and Fanatik now state he 'has decided' against signing a new deal with Leicester.

The Nigeria international's desire is to join a club who can offer him European football next season and he can achieve this at Fenerbahçe, who have come forward to sign him.

Edin Džeko, 39, and Michy Batshuayi, 30, have been leading the Turkish club's attack this season. The former's deal lasts until 2025 and he may not be the first-choice striker next seaosn, while Belgian’s deal lasts until June, with an option for another year.

Fenerbahçe sporting director Mario Branco is considering replacing Batshuayi, who earns €3m per year, with the Leicester City star.

It's further claimed the Yellow Canaries 'will make the first contact' with his agency, ROGON, to know about his salary demands. If Iheanacho were to accept a deal close to €3m per year, progress could be made in this operation.
