Stefan Borson: Everton star has 'breached his contract'

Everton loanee Neal Maupay has breached his contract after posting controversial comments about the club online.
That is the view of finance expert Stefan Borson, who exclusively told Football Insider the Merseyside giants could take disciplinary action against the 28-year-old if they wanted to pursue the matter.
Maupay is spending the season on loan at Marseille after struggling for form during his two-year spell at Goodison Park, where he scored just one goal in 32 appearances.
The Ligue 1 side have an obligation to buy the Frenchman at the end of this season, ensuring he will not be returning to Everton.
But the striker decided to mock his parent club on social media following their 2-0 defeat against Nottingham Forest on 29 December.
He said: "Whenever I'm having a bad day, I just check the Everton score and smile."
Everton unlikely to take disciplinary action against Neal Maupay
But Borson doesn't expect Sean Dyche's side to take action against Maupay as they likely no longer see him as their player anymore.
"Clearly, he is in breach of his contract," Borson told Football Insider.
"I think they will leave it because he's on loan.
"There is a guaranteed deal with Marseille, so he's not coming back.
"I think technically they probably could take disciplinary action because he's definitely going to be in breach of his contract to bring the club into disrepute or to say negative things about his employer.
"But I suspect they will just leave it given that they don't really perceive him as their player anymore."
