Stefan Borson 'suspects' Man City & Man United are in talks to sign Barcelona star

Manchester City and Manchester United are likely to be in talks with Dani Olmo's agent about a potential loan move from Barcelona.
That is the view of former Man City financial adviser Stefan Borson, who exclusively told Football Insider the Spain international has the option to terminate his contract with the La Liga giants following his registration issues.
Olmo joined Barcelona from RB Leipzig in August last year for £51million despite their well-documented financial struggles.
The Catalan side have failed in their latest attempt to register the 26-year-old for the remainder of the season due to their difficulties in meeting La Liga's wage restrictions after he was only permitted to play in the opening half of the campaign.
The attacking midfielder's agent Andy Bara was at the Man City game against Everton on Boxing Day, but he later claimed he was just on holiday in Manchester and his client is not planning to leave Barcelona.
Man City could agree Dani Olmo loan deal
Borson admitted it's "surprising" the agent was in attendance at the Etihad following the situation surrounding Olmo.
He told Football Insider: "It looks like Olmo has the option to terminate the contract given that he's not now going to be registered this season.
"I think that option runs until the end of January, but he has said he doesn't want to do it at the moment.
"Obviously, he's got other clients, but it seems a bit surprising that Olmo's agent was in Manchester. He claimed it was for a holiday just after Christmas and was at the City game. I suspect he's talking to both City and United about possible moves.
"Barcelona and their finances are a bit of a mystery. It's still a miracle that they have continued their transfer activity in the backdrop of really quite serious financial troubles, and their accounts are really extraordinary.
"They have also had all sorts of caps from La Liga, so they have had these problems about registering players now for a number of windows, but they keep going ahead and signing players. Olmo is just the latest one.
"I suspect it won't end up with him walking out the door. I think a loan move is possible.
"Although somebody did mention that there could be issues getting approval for a loan move given that he's not registered in La Liga, so you kind of have this almost total block.
"But it seems to me that they would be able to find some kind of pragmatic solution to it because, otherwise, it's a restraint of trade and he literally won't be able to play football for at least six months."
