Tosin Adarabioyo issues Cole Palmer demand after Chelsea victory

Tosin Adarabioyo scored a brace as Chelsea recorded 5-0 victory over Morecambe and later made a demand of star teammate Cole Palmer.

The centre-back was among the goal-scorers as were Christopher Nkunku and Joao Felix, with the latter also netting twice.

The Blues ended a dismal four-match winless run with a resounding FA Cup victory, despite making several changes to the starting lineup.

Adarabioyo took to Instagram to repost Cole Palmer's story, which showed him in the dressing room with his Player of the Match award.

He shared it on his own story with the caption: “I want my 2 pairs of creps by the morning!”.

The defender joined Chelsea in the summer after making the switch from West London rivals Fulham on a free transfer.

Manchester United also expressed interest in Adarabioyo and made a last-ditch attempt to hijack Chelsea's deal, but they were unsuccessful.

Football Insider reported that Adarabioyo had rejected multiple contract offers to stay at Fulham before ultimately signing with Chelsea.

Despite the centre-back depth at Stamford Bridge, he was determined to fight for his place—and his persistence is now beginning to pay off.

Adarabioyo has been on the fringes for most of this season, starting only seven out of 20 league matches.

However, it appears that Adarabioyo has settled under Enzo Maresca, and his recent performance may keep him in the manager’s thoughts moving forward.

The focus for Maresca's side now shifts to the Premier League, where they currently sit fourth, having dropped points in four consecutive matches.
