Tottenham fans turn at Goodison Park as continued chants make it clear what they want to happen now

Tottenham were well beaten by Everton despite the final score-line being 3-2 and Spurs fans made it clear throughout the game where their allegiances lie at the club.
Everton hammered Spurs in the opening 45 minutes and could have scored more in the second half before Dejan Kulusevski and Richarlison netted late on to give them a glimmer of hope.
The Spurs boss is under increasing pressure at the club and there are potential managers out there to replace Postecoglou should the club act.
Jamie O’Hara has also suggested Postecoglou could lose his job and it remains to be seen if Daniel Levy will make any sort of decision.
However, while the pressure is there for Postecoglou, when it comes to the Tottenham fans, their feelings are obvious after what was being chanted throughout the game at Goodison.
Tottenham fans call for Daniel Levy to leave during Everton defeat
As we all know, Daniel Levy is one of the more polarising characters in the Premier League and while some feel he’s set Spurs up to compete with the best, others feel he hasn’t quite done enough to take them to the next level.
And as pointed out by Sky Sports’ Pete Stevenson, the Tottenham supporters were in full voice shouting for Levy out during the game.
“A cross flashes across the Everton box. Richarlison misses his kick. Then Maddison blazes high and wide. Sums up Spurs’ frustration. A chorus of ‘We want Levy out ” from the away fans,” Stevenson said.
Furthermore, those chants could be heard in the first half as well, with the frustration after Maddison’s miss only giving the fans another chance to wade in.
Tottenham problems go beyond Postecoglou
While there is a strong argument to say that Ange Postecoglou isn’t doing enough to get results right now with this Tottenham team, he isn’t the first manager to fail.
Since the Pochettino days, Jose Mourinho, Antonio Conte, and Nuno Espirito Santo have all tried to bring success and all failed. Stick in interim managers Ryan Mason and Christian Stellini as well, and it’s obvious Spurs have deeper issues.
Whether or not that problem is solely at the feet of Daniel Levy or whether it’s something more substantial, is open to interpretation.
But right now, Postecoglou is a man under pressure and if Levy doesn’t go anywhere, you can bet your bottom dollar it will be Ange who takes the hit by losing his job.
