Tottenham have announced they will not increase ticket prices for the 2025-26 campaign, following the likes of Liverpool and West Ham.

Spurs say they “appreciate the loyalty and commitment of supporters from all generations” after a dismal 2024-25 season with under-pressure boss Ange Postecoglou.

Fans have protested against the leadership of chairman Daniel Levy and have called for him to leave the club in recent weeks.

Tottenham sit 14th in the Premier League and the Europa League is their last chance at silverware this season.

However, Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – has claimed Spurs will be planning to hike prices in the near future.

Tottenham will announce ticket price rise after ‘winning season’

Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider's Inside Track podcast, Wyness claimed Tottenham will increase prices if they have a “winning season” in the 2025-26 campaign.

Postecoglou’s side have lost 15 games in the Premier League alone this term and have been eliminated from both domestic cups.

Wyness insisted the Spurs hierarchy will have known they “couldn’t get away” with a ticket price increase for next season.

He told Football Insider's Inside Track podcast: "The results may be a factor which swung things in this decision.

"The mood music is pretty dire at Spurs right now and Postecoglou has been having a bad time.

"I think the powers that be will have thought they couldn't get away with another 2,3,4 per cent increase.

"They've got a very unsatisfied fan base. They've seen protests and marches.

"They will have thought: 'Okay, let's just wait until we have a winning season next year.'

"They'll then think about moving the prices up. The results will have been a factor in their thinking, definitely.

"It would've been a dangerous time to do something with the season ticket prices."

Postecoglou may not be able to avoid sack at Tottenham

Wyness has previously told Football Insider (20 March) that it is "looking harder and harder to keep" Postecoglou on – even if he delivers silverware this season.

He finished fifth in the Premier League with Spurs last season but is now under increased sack pressure.

Wyness claimed repeated fan confrontations show Postecoglou has “lost respect” at Tottenham.
