Tottenham fans have posted their reactions to news that the club may be about to sign Axel Disasi from rivals Chelsea.
The North London club could make a move for Disasi after missing on former Blues defender, Fikayo Tomori.
Spurs will have to contest Aston Villa for any deal they hope to make for Disasi, as the Frenchman looked close to joining the Midlands club on-loan.
Tottenham have been desperate for outfield signings in January, as manager Ange Postecoglou’s squad has suffered an injury crisis this season.
Spurs have repeatedly missed out on transfer targets this January, and Greek wonderkid Stefanos Tzimas may be added to the list of nearly-men as the Nurnberg striker could be joining Premier League rivals, Brighton.
Tottenham fans not happy about rumours of Axel Disasi joining from Chelsea
Despite the desperate need for defenders, following injuries to Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven, Spurs fans still are not happy about the club trying to sign Disasi.
The Frenchman has struggled since his move from Monaco to Chelsea in August 2023, for £38.8million [Sky Sports].
Disasi has been ridiculed for his poor performances by Blues fans, who seem happy to see the French international leave the club.
Spurs fans took to X, to voice their opinions on the potential Disasi deal, with one saying they would “start watching golf”, if the Frenchman was signed, whilst another said signing Disasi would make their season “horrific”.
