Trevoh Chalobah sends Chelsea message after stunning comeback from 'bomb squad'

Trevoh Chalobah has issued a statement following his sensational Chelsea return against Wolves on Monday (20 January).
The 25-year-old centre-back has gone from the so-called ‘bomb squad’ – a group of nearly a dozen players exiled out of Enzo Maresca’s first team – to being described as “the best solution” to shore up Chelsea’s defence following an an emergency recall from Crystal Palace.
Chalobah had been deemed surplus to requirements by the new Blues boss last summer, even being sent to train away from the first team before moving to Selhurst Park.
However, the central defender reminded everyone what he is capable of as Chelsea defeated Wolves 3-1 to get back to winning ways after five games without one in the Premier League.
The England Under-21 international was voted the Player of the Match after an impressive display that included him assisting Noni Madueke.
Chalobah took to Instagram to provide a simple message about his return by saying, "Psalm 23. Back."

Chalobah had a night to remember at Stamford Bridge, creating two chances while having 97 touches throughout the night.
The centre-back was accurate with 67 percent of his long balls, while he also made four passes into the final third as he looked to start the attack from the back.
Chalobah was also defensively sound by winning six duels, making seven clearances, and three interceptions throughout the game.
The victory saw Chelsea move back into fourth place in the Premier League table, with the club sitting four points behind Nottingham Forest and Arsenal.
The Blues will be back in action on Saturday (25 January) against Man City at the Etihad Stadium.
