"Very satisfied with him" – Fulham player asked about manager change on international duty

Fulham midfielder Sander Berge has told the Norwegian media it's too early to speculate on Ole Gunnar Solskjær becoming the next Norway manager.
The former Manchester United and Cardiff City boss recently stated he would be interested in taking over from current manager Ståle Solbakken when his contract expired in June 2026.
Speaking to Dagbladet, the Fulham player was asked about the possibility of Solskjær taking over Norway in the future.
Berge said at this stage they were only thinking about working with the current coach and the squad are concentrating on finally qualifying for a major tournament.
"We have had Ståle for a long time and are very satisfied with him. We are looking forward to taking on the challenge. It is too early to speculate on anything else. For us, it’s about maximising this team with Ståle and getting the results we need to get to a championship," said the Norwegian.
Marco Silva's side have made an impressive start to the season, but Berge has had to feel his way in since his summer transfer from Burnley.
The 26-year-old only made his first Premier League start for the London club at the weekend, when he played 66 minutes in the 3-2 defeat to Manchester City.
It's very likely he will start Norway's upcoming games against Slovenia and Austria in the UEFA Nations League.
