West Ham defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka has taken to social media to celebrate their 3-2 Premier League win over London rivals Fulham on Tuesday (January 14).

The 27-year-old played the full 90 minutes and bagged an assist as the East London clubs secured the first win of the Graham Potter era.

Carlos Soler opened the scoring in the 31st minute with his first goal for the club since joining on loan from French champions PSG in the summer, capitalising on Fulham’s attempt to play out from the back.

Fellow central midfielder Tomas Soucek doubled their lead at the London Stadium just two minutes later, latching on to Wan-Bissaka's cross and whirling away in celebration.

Inform Alex Iwobi got one back for Fulham just after half-time but Lucas Paqueta restored West Ham's two-goal cushion after another poor attempt to play out from the back.

Iwobi scored his second in the 78th minute but it proved to be nothing more than a consolation as West Ham secured a much-needed win.

The right-back has been key for the East London club since joining from Man United in the summer, starting 21 of his 22 games across all competitions, popping up with two goals, and one assist in his 1895 minutes of action.

Wan-Bissaka took to Instagram after the win over Fulham to celebrate, captioning his post: “+3 in East! Onto Saturday.”

Potter earned a hard-fought victory in his first Premier League game at the helm as West Ham seek to put Julen Lopetegui's torrid tenure behind them.

West Ham have another London derby for their next game, hosting Crystal Palace on Saturday (January 18).
