The transfer window has finally sparked into life with just a few days to go.
Indeed, Arsenal have bid for Ollie Watkins, while Jhon Duran is set to move to Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile, Mathys Tel is available on the market, and that has led to a lot of rumours about Premier League interest.
Tottenham are keen on Tel, while Arsenal also like Tel.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Kaveh Solhekol has been discussing Tel's situation, and he says that he's heard something different about the Bayern Munich striker.
According to the journalist, people close to Mathys Tel have been playing down these rumours, saying that people shouldn't get so carried away by these rumours.
What sources close to Mathys Tel are saying
Solhekol shared what he's been hearing from people close to Mathys Tel.
The journalist says that he's been told to not get carried away by these rumours, stating that he's been told that there's no concrete information to suggest that Tel wants to leave.
"Spurs are interested in him as well, RB Leipzig in Germany, This evening we have been contacted by some people involved in some of the deals around Tel and they're saying to us, look don't get too carried away, we're aware of all these reports that he has decided to leave Bayern Munich, but we haven't been told that as concrete information yet, so we're waiting to hear from the player himself," Solhekol said.
What Mathys Tel did after his last game
Solhekol has had the Tel rumours played down to him, but the player himself only added fuel to this fire on Wednesday evening.
Indeed, Tel featured for Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Wednesday, and after he was substituted, he seemed to wave to the fans.
Meanwhile, Tel was coy over his future after the game, stating that he doesn't know if that was his final game for Bayern Munich.
If Tel isn't looking to leave Bayern, he's doing a very good impression of a player who is on his way out.
Whether or not the striker ends up in the Premier League before Monday's transfer deadline remains to be seen, but, it does appear as though there's a chance that Tel will be on the move in the closing stages of this transfer window.
