West Ham United have found themselves as key players in Randal Kolo Muani's move to Juventus, thanks to their loan deal for Carlos Soler.

That's according to Calciomercato, who report that West Ham are key to unblocking the striker's move to Italy.

They explain that PSG need to unlock the transfer as currently it's closed up because they have a maximum of six players out on loan. Soler is one of those. He joined West Ham on a season-long loan deal in the summer.

The Hammers are happy with the Spaniard and have a right to make it permanent for €20m. Several reports have indicated that West Ham and PSG are already in talks about such a scenario.

However, West Ham would like a discount. They know PSG need to sell, largely to help unlock the Muani situation, and want to take advantage of it. New talks are planned in the next few days to try and find a solution.

The obvious answer is that PSG offer West Ham the discount they want. West Ham get a better deal, it opens up a loan spot and Muani can head to Juventus.

It's a great situation for Graham Potter's side to find themselves in, but the question is whether they can fully take advantage of it. The talks in the next few days will answer that.
