West Ham in 'advanced talks' over player – Loan deal with purchase clause being discussed

West Ham United are in 'advanced talks' with RB Leipzig over a deal for striker André Silva to join before the end of the transfer window.
That's according to journalist Philipp Hinze, who reports that West Ham are discussing a loan until the end of the season for the Portuguese striker. There will be a purchase clause included in the deal.
He states that no final agreements have been made as yet but constructive negotiations are ongoing between the various parties.
West Ham face some competition from the Bundesliga as there are clubs within Germany who are interested in Silva. As of now, there has been no final decision made about his future.
It has been reported in Germany that he would be allowed to leave Leipzig this month as he is no longer in their plans.
West Ham need to reinforce upfront after Michail Antonio suffered a broken leg in a car crash and Niklas Füllkrug picked up another long-term injury.
They were said to be suitors for Silva earlier this month and it seems they have now stepped forward on that front, with director of football Tim Steidten heading back to Germany again to improve their forward line.
