Wolves player 'undergoing treatment' on international duty – Suffering from hip pain

The November international break is perhaps the least liked of all. Clubs are either edging into battles for league position ahead of final pushes for glory in the coming months, or they’re getting ready to see a great big abyss opening up below them.

Unfortunately for Wolves, it’s the latter right now and the last thing they need is any players coming back injured from the international break.

Mixed news comes from Brazil regarding André.

The bad news is that the Wolves midfielder was suffering from an issue on Tuesday and unable to train. He’s apparently experiencing hip pain and has been working with a physiotherapist away from the group.

The good news is that Brazil are taking it seriously and don’t appear to want to push their luck with the Wolves player. He’s out of their match against Venezuela this week, and if he doesn’t improve soon then it sounds like he’ll be sent home ahead of the next match against Uruguay.

Regarding André and Guilherme Arana, TNT Brasil quote manager Dorival Júnior as saying: “They are undergoing treatment, following the medical guidelines. At first, they will stay with us. We will try to recover tomorrow, it’s not happening for the next match. But a bigger evaluation will be done after the match against Venezuela, and if necessary, we will take the necessary measures.

“But at first, we will try to recover them because of the injuries. They were not very serious injuries, and because of that, I think that with the treatment, we may be able to recover them.”
