Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder André has admitted he is getting more help from Vitor Pereira than previously under Gary O'Neil.
TNT Sports Brasil have an interview with the midfielder today in which he discusses his start to life in England and how life has improved under Pereira.
He joined Wolves in a €22m move in the summer from Fluminense, joining the growing Brazilian contingent at Molineux alongside the likes of Matheus Cunha and Joao Gomes.
He endured something of a difficult start to life at the club as Wolves went eight games without a win, losing five in a row from September to November before beating Southampton 2-0. André was left on the bench for that game.
The midfielder was brought back into the fold under O'Neil from the 23rd of November and has been a regular since, particularly since he was replaced by Pereira on December 19th.
He's made 15 appearances under the Portuguese coach since then, with 1187 minutes in total under his belt, surpassing the 734 minutes he managed in 12 games under O'Neil.
That's something he's now opened up on, admitting Pereira has worked harder with him than the man he replaced at Wolves.
"With Vitor Pereira, it turned out that he’s helping me a lot now, a lot more," he said.
"Yes, I’m managing to evolve more, yes, I’m managing to play more. I adapted, I adapted a lot to his style of play, to the committee, to the whole committee, all Portuguese.
"So, it made things a lot easier. Now, I didn’t want this to stop, because our team got two good results, we’re nine points away from the relegation zone.
"Anyway, now when, when we get back, we have important games. But we have to stay here, do what we’ve been doing, which will give our team peace of mind to play better and play better football."
