The list continues to grow.

It is January, and that means Juventus finally having the chance to address the depth issues that Thiago Motta has dealt with for much of th 2024-25 season. While adding a defender or two is very much at the top of just about everybody's list, bringing in somebody to give Dusan Vlahovic a breather or two every so often is not that far behind on the list of needs over the next few weeks.

And that was before Arek Milik reportedly had another injury setback that will likely keep him out until early February at the very earliest.

According to Sky Italia's Gianluca Di Marzio on Monday night, Juventus have added West Ham striker Niclas Füllkrug to their list of options up front to try and sign during the winter transfer window. He is now the third striker to be linked with a move to Juventus this month, along with Manchester United's Joshua Zirkzee and Paris Saint'Germain's Randal Kolo Muani. Much like a potential move for Kolo Muani, the 31-year-old Füllkrug would likely arrive on loan for the second half of the season — something that Di Marzio says West Ham are considering this month.

Described as Germany's "unsung hero" during his country's run at last summer's European Championship, Füllkrug made a big-money move from Borussia Dortmund to the Premier League following his exploits during the tournament worth a reported £27 million. However, things certainly haven't gone as well with West Ham as they did when playing for Germany on German soil a few months earlier. He has started just three games in the Premier League this season, scoring two goals in 368 minutes for a West Ham side that sits in 14th.

In his one season with Dortmund, Füllkrug scored 12 goals in 29 appearances (27 starts) in the Bundesliga. He added three goals during Dortmund's surprise run to the Champions League final, one they lost to Real Madrid last June.

Füllkrug will be 32 years old in February and has a contract with West Ham through 2028.
