Juventus' run of consecutive draws coming out of the international break has only continued, with Sunday's 1-1 result against Lecce providing us with another example of what this team's current limitations currently are amidst a massive injury crunch.

The draws only continue.

Juventus have played three games since coming back from the November international break. And in those three games, they've scored just one goal and drawn every single time.

Sunday's 1-1 draw with Lecce was the worst of the bunch — mainly with how it all went down and how Juve, who had nine players out injured over the weekend, couldn't hold onto their lead in second-half stoppage time.

It was frustrating. Maddening even. Yet this Juventus side is severely shorthanded at the moment and certainly playing like one without very important players on the field.

On Episode 260 of The Old Lady Speaks Podcast, we discuss:

  • No takeaways from the week that was. Instead, we vent a little bit.
  • Juventus' draw against Lecce was not like the previous two draws over the past week or so. That's both because of how bad Lecce have been and how it all came about.
  • What has gone wrong of late? And is there anything that can be done by Thiago Motta to try and get something to change for the better even with all of the injuries?
  • A look at the Champions League table and overall situation ahead of facing Manchester City in 10 days following the scoreless draw with Aston Villa.
  • Questions from social media — including just who is to blame for Juventus' injury crisis and why exactly Motta decided to take out Federico Gatti in the second half against Lecce.
