Lamine Yamal continues to be a driving force for Spain at Euro 2024.

The Barcelona star has started four of Spain's five games at the tournament and he will play the biggest game of his career so far against France in the semi finals.

The 16-year-old has excelled on the right side of Spain's attack and Luis de la Fuente has full faith in his ability to play a key role.

Spain's 2-1 quarter final win over Germany featured his third assist of the tournament so far and the second time he has created a goal for Dani Olmo.

That tally means he is now the first player aged under 20 to register three assists at a UEFA European Championship with former La Blaugrana star Michael Laudrup's record broken.

Three players have racked up three assists for Spain in previous tournaments, but no La Roja player has managed four in one competition, a feat only managed by four players in history.

Lamine Yamal has at least one more game to chase down both the Spanish and European record.
