Spanish Federation take shock decision on Dani Olmo registration drama at Barcelona with just hours to go

Barcelona have been granted a stay of execution in their attempt to register Dani Olmo and Pau Victor for the second half of the season, according to the latest coming out of Catalonia. The pair will not be able to play if they are not registered, after being registered through an emergency injury rule at the start of the season, Barcelona had to fit their deals into their salary limit as normal before the deadline.
That deadline was midnight on the 31st of December, but according to Fernando Polo of MD, Barcelona have been granted three more days to complete the documentation of a deal for their €100m sale of their VIP boxes at the newly renovated Camp Nou for the next 20 years.
