Charlton Athletic boss Nathan Jones has said they won’t rush Tyreece Campbell and Lloyd Jones back into the squad.

Charlton Athletic will be patient with their pair as they wait for the right opportunity. CAFC are back in action this weekend with an away trip to Cambridge United.

The Addicks are positioned in 5th place in the League One table. They are inside the play-offs along with Wycombe Wanderers, Stockport County and Reading with five fixtures left to play.

In this latest injury update regarding Campbell and Jones, their manager has said, as per their official club website:“Tyreece had calf tightness so we didn’t take any chances with that. With an extra week, he’s a lot closer to the squad. Lloyd’s exactly the same. We haven’t rushed these because they’re two of our best players. It’s not that stage of the season yet, but we want to get all our best players back.”
