Birmingham City in talks over move for 27-year-old

Birmingham City are in talks with Rangers over a move for Kieran Dowell, according to a report by The Rangers Review.
Birmingham City are keen to lure the attacking midfielder to the Midlands before the end of the January transfer window. BCFC are currently top of the League One table above Wrexham and Wycombe Wanderers.
Dowell, 27, is under contract at Rangers until the summer of 2027 but his future is up in the air right now. He has made 16 appearances in all competitions so far this season, 12 of which have come in the Scottish Premiership, but he hasn’t scored or got an assist.
In this latest update regarding his situation at Ibrox by The Rangers Review, he is closing in on an exit with the Blues in discussions over a switch. Chris Davies’ side drew 1-1 away at Wrexham last time out with Lyndon Dykes getting their goal.
