Blackburn Rovers are interested in a move for Reading defender Tyler Bindon ahead of the January transfer window, according to reporter Alan Nixon on his Patreon page.

Blackburn Rovers are keen on a swoop for the League One man this winter. They saw their game against Portsmouth postponed this weekend due to the weather.

Bindon, 19, has become a key player for the Royals in the third tier over recent times and they could face a battle to keep hold of him down the line amid attention from higher up the football pyramid.

His contract with the Berkshire outfit expires at the end of the season and he is due to become available for free in June 2025 as things stand.

In this latest update regarding his situation with Ruben Selles’ side, journalist Nixon has claimed on Patreon that he has emerged on the radar of Rovers this winter as they weigh up potential targets ahead of the second-half of the campaign.
