The Chairboys are currently sat in 2nd place in the League One table behind Birmingham City following their impressive start to the season.

Their Academy Director Jeremy Sauer has said, as per their website: “Harry brings a wealth of passion and expertise in developing aspiring footballers and we’re hugely excited to welcome him on board.

“Plans for the academy are progressing at great pace and we are delighted to be building an extremely strong, highly qualified team to drive it forward to meet the ambitions of the club’s vision of delivering a successful Category 1 academy in the near future.”

Meanwhile, Hudson added: “I’m super excited to be here. It’s a fantastic project and I’m delighted to be part of a club with such ambition and where there’s a really strong culture and alignment with the first-team, so I’m thrilled to get started and embark on a new journey.”

With the way things are going, the Chairboys may well be in a promotion battle for the Championship come the end of this campaign.

They have been impressive over recent times under the guidance of Matt Bloomfield.

What now?

Wycombe Wanderers are back in action this weekend in the FA Cup with a home clash against National League outfit York City.
