Hull City swooped to sign Kyle Joseph from League One side Blackpool in the January transfer window.
Hull City landed the striker earlier this winter to bolster their attacking ranks under the guidance of Ruben Selles. He put pen-to-paper on a three-and-a-half year deal with HCAFC running until June 2028.
Joseph, 23, was under contract at Blackpool until 2026 but they decided to let him head out the exit door after his valuation was met by the Tigers. He scored eight goals in 29 matches for the Tangerines during the first-half of this season before he was sold.
The ex-Scotland youth international joined the Seasiders in 2023 and it initially took him a while to get going at Bloomfield Road. However, he really started to find his feet once Steve Bruce came through the entrance door and was in fine form before his transfer to East Yorkshire came about earlier this year.

Hull City forked out a fee in the region of £2.5million to bring Joseph to the MKM Stadium, as per BBC Sport.
The forward has played 10 matches for the Tigers so far since leaving Blackpool but hasn’t scored yet.
He has played both down the middle and more recently on the left wing for Selles’ side so far.
Joseph has shown a lot of desire with his running and ability to close down defenders and will hope he can get his first goal as soon as possible.
After joining Hull City, he told their website at the time: “I’m made up. It’s a massive club to join. The club showed a lot of interest to get me here – the gaffer and sporting director – and I’m really pleased to be here.
“The gaffer is a massive reason why I wanted to join this club. I feel like he can take me to another level and really get the best out of me. That was a big thing for me to come here.”
Hull City are sat in 19th place in the table and are three points above the drop zone with eight fixtures left.
Kyle Joseph’s story so far
Joseph rose up through the academy at Wigan Athletic and went on to play 20 games for the Latics’ first-team as a teenager, chipping in with five goals.
The London-born man was then snapped up by Swansea City in 2021 but struggled to break into their senior team.
Instead, he was loaned out to Cheltenham Town and Oxford United in the third tier to get some experience before Blackpool came calling on a permanent basis.
