Hull City make 25-year-old key target before the end of the window

Hull City have made Sorba Thomas their ‘primary’ target and are hopeful of signing him before the deadline, as per a report by HullLive.
Hull City are trying to lure the attacker to East Yorkshire from Huddersfield Town before the end of the January transfer window. HCAFC are eager to bring him back from his current loan spell in France at Nantes.
Thomas, 25, moved to Ligue 1 last summer and has since made 18 appearances in all competitions, 16 of which have come in the league, and he has chipped in with one goal and two assists. He is due to spend the whole campaign at the Stade de la Beaujoire.
In this latest update regarding his situation this winter by HullLive, the Tigers have agreed a fee and terms over a deal. He was left out of Nantes’ squad this weekend as they ended up drawing 1-1 at home to Lyon.

Thomas would be an eye-catching addition for Hull City if they were able to get him.
He would give Ruben Selles another option to pick from going forward and more competition and depth on the wing.
The Wales international, who has 14 caps to his name, is under contract at Huddersfield Town until the summer of 2026.
Thomas penned his last extension with the Terriers back in 2022 and their former boss Carlos Corberan told their websiteat the time: “Sorba has shown that, in football mentality and ambition can make a big difference in the development of players. He’s a very competitive player and is among the most minutes played of any outfielder – only injuries have prevented more.”
The Londoner moved to the John Smith’s Stadium in 2021 and has since scored seven goals in 114 games.
He was loaned out to Blackburn Rovers for the second-half of the 2022/23 campaign.
Thomas was on the books at Boreham Wood from 2015 to 2021 and found the net on eight occasions in 95 outings for the National League club.

Hull City have until the deadline on Monday 3rd February to get their man.
The Tigers won 3-0 away at Sheffield United last time out in a stunning result.
They have been busy on the transfer front over recent weeks and have brought in the likes of Joe Gelhardt, Matt Crooks, Nordin Amrabat, Lincoln, Eliot Matazo and Kyle Joseph.
