Stoke City loanee Nathan Lowe is of interest to League One side Huddersfield Town, Football League World has claimed.
Stoke City sent young striker Nathan Lowe out on loan to Walsall in the summer, eager to give the teenage prospect a shot at regular game time further down the ladder.
It’s safe to say the 19-year-old has caught the eye with the League Two leaders too. Lowe has managed a remarkable 17 goals and six assists in 29 games for the Saddlers.
The Potters loanee has five goals in his last four games and has been a mainstay up top as Mat Sadler’s side have embarked on a seven-game winning streak.
As such, questions over his future have been rife, and it seems there’s interest in moving the Stoke City prospect to a higher level. League One promotion hopefuls Huddersfield Town are keen on bringing Lowe onboard as they look to add a new striker to their ranks in January, as per Football League World.
However, interestingly, the report also notes that Lowe favours a stay with Walsall as he looks to maintain his remarkable form as the Saddlers keep up their charge for the title.
The deal is a season-long one, so Stoke City would have to recall Lowe.
