Reading starlet Andre Garcia is being watched by several clubs including Manchester City, Chelsea and Spurs, according to TBR Football.
Reading have become known for their ability to produce top youngsters from their academy in recent years, with their success at youth level providing crucial.
The Royals have largely been forced into bringing these prospects into the senior ranks due to financial and ownership problems. Nevertheless, it’s a rare positive for the club in a tough time in their history.
Among the most recent stars to emerge from the ranks has been teenager Andre Garcia, who has emerged as Ruben Selles’ starting left-back in recent weeks. Unsurprisingly, having made his senior breakthrough at just 16, the Reading starlet’s efforts have not gone unnoticed.
According to a report from TBR Football, over a dozen clubs are eyeing Garcia. Premier League quartet Manchester City, Chelsea, Spurs and Crystal Palace are all claimed to be keen on the prospect.
There’s interest from Europe too. German sides Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen and RB Leipzig are interested, as are Atletico Madrid, Atalanta and Marseille of Spain, Italy and France respectively.
Palace hold a strong interest after their Michael Olise success, but their top-flight rivals may boast an edge thanks to their deeper pockets.
