Manchester City are still waiting to officially sign Leyton Orient teenager Teddie Lamb but there are no issues with the deal, as per The Secret Scout.

Manchester City and Leyton Orient are preparing to cross paths in the FA Cup next month.

The Premier League title holders make the trip to Brisbane Road after the O’s defeated Derby County in the third round. Richie Wellens’ side won on penalties against the Championship strugglers to set up a high-profile tie with Pep Guardiola’s side.

Fans will be excited to see their in-form side pit against some of the world’s best, but it’s Manchester City who are looking to raid Leyton Orient for one of their top prospects.

Last week, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano said that Manchester City were closing in on a deal to sign Leyton Orient academy striker Teddie Lamb, and a fresh update has now emerged.

Writing on X, trusted youth football news source The Secret Scout said that Manchester City are waiting for the green light to make Lamb’s arrival from the League One side official. Despite the wait, there are no concerns over the agreement on the Cityzens’ side.

Lamb is poised to become the latest in a string of EFL starlets to move to the Manchester City academy over recent years.
