Player Blackpool signed earlier this year loaned out for a second time

Blackpool defender Dan Sassi has re-joined Rochdale on loan, as confirmed by their official club website.

Blackpool have let the centre-back head out the exit door again to get some more experience under his belt. He has linked up with Rochdale for a second time on a two-month basis in the National League.

Sassi, 20, joined the Tangerines last winter and was loaned out to Spotland during the second-half of last season. He went on to play 10 games for the North West outfit to boost his development before heading back to Bloomfield Road for pre-season.

In this latest update regarding his situation, the Seasiders have confirmed that he has gone back to the Dale now for a second stint. He will be eager to get as many minutes as possible with the fifth tier club over the next eight weeks and his parent club will no doubt monitor his progress.
