Plymouth Argyle are expected to make an improved offer for Lincoln City defender Paudie O’Connor, according to journalist Alex Crook on X.
Plymouth Argyle are keen to lure the League One centre-back to the Championship this winter. PAFC have apparently seen their first bid rejected.
O’Connor, 27, has been a key player for Lincoln City since joining them back in 2022 and has made 127 appearances in all competitions, 31 of which have come this season, and he has chipped in with seven goals. His contract with the Imps expires in the summer and he is due to become a free agent as things stand.
In this latest update regarding his situation this month by reporter Crook on X, the Pilgrims have seen their first approach of around £250,000 rebuffed but are expected to try again. They are currently sat bottom of the second tier table and are in the drop zone with Hull City and Luton Town.
