Sheffield United, Stoke City and Norwich City are interested in Reading midfielder Charlie Savage, according to CaughtOffside.
Sheffield United and Stoke City will be looking to bolster their ranks this winter as they work towards achieving their respective goals.
The Blades are looking to win promotion and return to the Premier League at the first time of asking but their squad needs bolstering further after some big injury blows. As for the Potters, they’ll be looking to back Mark Robins in his first window at the helm with the club lingering dangerously above the relegation zone.
New additions are needed at both clubs, and it seems the duo have identified a similar target.
According to a report from CaughtOffside, both Sheffield United and Stoke City are among the admirers of midfielder Charlie Savage, who has been catching the eye for Reading in League One. A number of clubs have been keeping tabs on the Welshman, but Norwich City are the only other side named.
The report says that if there is any hint that the Royals could part ways with Savage this winter, bids are expected to come in for the midfielder.
The 21-year-old is under contract with the club until 2027 having signed a four-year deal upon arrival last summer.
