'Very disappointed' – Sheffield Wednesday talent confirms season-ending injury fate

Sheffield Wednesday loanee Bailey Cadamarteri has confirmed his season and Lincoln City loan has been ended by injury.
Sheffield Wednesday prospect Bailey Cadamarteri has been out gaining valuable experience on loan at Lincoln City this season. He broke through with SWFC in the 2023/24 campaign but the call to send him out temporarily for more minutes was made last summer.
The move looked to be bearing fruit too, but injury has hit in 2025. It has disrupted the Owls starlet’s progress and he has proven to be a miss for Lincoln City too.
Amid his new setback, it was reported earlier this week that Cadamarteri would be facing a race against time to return before the campaign’s end.
Now though, writing on Instagram, the Sheffield Wednesday talent has confirmed he will not be back before the end of the season, effectively ending his Lincoln City loan in the process.
The SWFC ace said:
“Very disappointed that my season is over early.
“Experienced lots of ups and downs on my first loan but time to get myself right and ready to see what next season brings.
“Thank you to the fans and the players for supporting me through this season and i wish the club every bit of success for the future.”
