West Brom, Burnley, Hull City among sides eyeing League One midfielder

West Brom, Burnley, Hull City and Norwich City are all interested in Lincoln City midfielder Ethan Erhahon, according to The Boot Room.
West Brom, Burnley, Hull City and Norwich City were all active in the transfer market during the summer window.
Since then, the focus has turned to on-pitch action in the Championship. The Baggies and the Clarets have started well, but the Tigers and the Canaries will be hoping their form can turn after wins last time out.
Regardless of on-pitch matters, those behind the scenes at all four second-tier sides will be keeping an eye on potential targets for when the window reopens in January.
Now, it has been claimed that one man interesting all of West Brom, Burnley, Hull City and Norwich City is midfielder Ethan Erhahon.
That’s according to The Boot Room, who stays the Championship quartet are all keeping tabs on Lincoln City’s influential 23-year-old. The Imps expect to land a club record fee for Erhahon, so the Scot won’t come cheap if he is to move in the summer transfer window,
Starring in League One
Erhahon first made a name for himself in his native Scotland with St. Mirren. He looked to be a coup for Lincoln City when they signed him in January 2023 and that has certainly proven true.
As such, it’s no wonder the likes of West Brom, Burnley, Hull City and Norwich City are showing interest.
The former Scotland youth international mainly plays as a defensive midfielder but can operate slightly further forward and out on the left-hand side if needed. He has started all eight games across all competitions this season, helping Michael Skubala’s side lose just once in their first six League One games.
A step up awaits?
The feeling at Sincil Bank has been that it a case of when Erhahon leaves Lincoln City, rather than if.
He has emerged as one of the best midfielders in League One side joining the Imps and many feel the time has come for him to be tested at a higher level.
A move to any of West Brom, Burnley, Hull City or Norwich City would offer him just that, but time will tell if the claimed interest develops into anything more serious by the time January comes around.
