Burnley have recalled Dara Costelloe from his loan at Accrington Stanley, as announced by their X account.
Burnley have decided to bring back from the attacker from his temporary spell away in League Two. They will now weigh up his future between now and the end of the January transfer window.
Costelloe, 22, was given the green light to link up with Accrington Stanley last summer to get some game time. He has since made 21 appearances in all competitions during the first-half of this season, 17 of which have come in the league, and he has chipped in with five goals and one assist.
In this latest update regarding his situation this winter, the Clarets have confirmed on X that he is now back at Turf Moor. It remains to be seen at the moment what their next plans are for the player ahead of the deadline on Monday 3rd February.
