Crystal Palace striker emerges on radar of EFL side

AFC Wimbledon are interested in a loan move for Crystal Palace attacker Ademola Ola-Adebomi, according to a report by News Shopper.
AFC Wimbledon are eyeing a potential swoop for the Premier League man this winter. AFCW have until the end of the January transfer window to seal a deal.
Ola-Adebomi, 21, has spent the first-half of this season over in Belgium with KSK Beveren but struggled to make an impact. He made eight appearances in all competitions but didn’t score so has now returned to his parent club.
In this latest update regarding his immediate future at Selhurst Park, News Shopper report he has emerged on the radar of the Dons as they plot some new faces under Johnnie Jackson.
They are currently sat in 5th place in the League Two table and are sat in the play-offs along with Port Vale, Notts County and Doncaster Rovers. They are two points off the top three.

AFC Wimbledon could see Ola-Adebomi as someone to add more firepower to their striking department.
He would give them more competition and depth if they were able to lure him down to the fourth tier.
His time at Beveren didn’t go to plan in the end and he may feel he has a point to prove now.
Ola-Adebomi spent the second-half of the last campaign with Burton Albion to boost his development and scored one goal in 14 games for the Brewers.
He was linked with Stockport County, Wycombe Wanderers, Bromley, Stevenage and Fleetwood Town last summer, as per London News Online, but went abroad instead.
Ola-Adebomi has been on the books at Crystal Palace for his whole career to date.
He has risen up through the academy ranks of the top flight outfit and has been a regular for them at various youth levels to date.
The prospect was handed his first professional contract by the Eagles in 2022.
Ola-Adebomi is yet to make a first-team appearance for Oliver Glasner’s side but has scored 16 goals in 33 games for the Under-21’s to date.
What now for AFC Wimbledon target Ademola Ola-Adebomi at Crystal Palace?
A move to an English club would be a sensible option for the player now.
He will have learned a lot from being out of his comfort zone at Beveren but AFC Wimbledon are a safer option for him now though and are closer to home.
