Bradford City midfielder Corry Evans has said he’s ‘not heard anything’ yet in regards to a contract extension.

Bradford City swooped to sign the Northern Ireland international earlier this season on a free transfer following his summer exit from Sunderland in the Championship.

Evans, 34, penned a short-term deal running until January with the Bantams and that is due to expire in a matter of weeks.

In this latest update regarding his future at Valley Parade, he has said, as per a report by the Telegraph & Argus: “All I can do is just try and put in performances. Who knows what the future holds, whether it be here or elsewhere. I’d like to stay here if I could but that’s not down to me really, so we’ll just have to see what comes. I’ve not heard anything. It’s still early days yet and I’m sure we’ll discuss that nearer the time.”
